Keep in mind the malicious rumors started years ago about about Hillary dying, Hillary having Parkinson's - along with all those announcing that Hillary was about to be arrested any day now.
As to Trump being "sharp" - well, Trump is sharp-tongued, in the sense of his unrestrained tendency to insult people. But certainly not mentally sharp. His vocabulary has widely been rated as comparable to a child's, and he is constantly mocked at how his speech rambles, sometimes incoherently.
