Acosta concluded, “Some members of the far-right in this country have apparently decided they will resort to intimidation, and in some cases, even violence to get what they want. They could sweep into power faster than the experts thought possible. Sound familiar? Sort of like an American Taliban. It is starting to look like a combination of theocracy and thugocracy. The leaders of this MAGAban movement, people Marjorie, Madison, and Tucker, they’re not counting on an intelligence failure or a lack of planning on your part. They’re counting on a lack of courage to stand up for your rights in this country. Does that ring a bell? The anti-immigration, anti-democratic, anti-women’s rights forces have all sought these kinds of changes for years, even decades, in this country. Their operation to change America forever is well underway.”

and I keep being told CNN is real, respectable news. Also, I'm pretty sure all the race riots last year count as violence and intimidation

pAntifa looks and acts more like the Taliban than anything mainstream found on the right. How many times have we seen leftist mobs swarm 1 or 2 lone people minding their own business? Very rarely if ever have I seen right wing groups behave that way. They tend to have more honor and don't resort to such low tactics.

The left wing folks are also far more idealistic. If you don't believe whatever garbage they are spewing, if you don't hold your fist in the air when they command you to, you are branded their enemy and opposition. Right wing groups tend not to go out looking for enemies to fight. Their enemies (pAntifa) usually show up wherever they go and proceed to get their arses kicked into the earth in an amusing fashion, which makes you wonder why they keep showing up.

The left wing groups also seem more likely to carry weapons. When Trump was POTUS, I recall a right wing (Patriot prayer) member being shot in cold blood in Portland. He was standing on the corner minding his own business when a militant leftist decided it was his day to die. Trump had this man's house raided and he was killed in return. An eye for an eye... That's the word of the lord, not the Prophet Mohammad. The left also bends over backwards to Muslims while hating on Christians.

As far as theocracies go, give me one good example of right wing folks trying to turn America into a theocracy... As in, priests, prophets, etc ruling the people. No one is talking about turning America into that. We allow people to practice whatever religion they choose, convert to whatever religion they choose, not believe in god at all, etc. The idea that anyone is actively trying to turn America into a theocracy is pure hogwash and just an empty, baseless talking point.

CNN, as usual, proves the point that they are Clown News Network.

Acosta on the over 500 violent antifa riots the past year and a half, "just an ideology" and mostly peaceful protests.

He totally isn't a propagandist pushing a narrative instead of reporting the news as it is.

Probably. 1 and 1/2 years = 547 days and 1/2 days. It certainly seemed like pAntifa and BLM was out protesting somewhere in America on a daily basis. If not one of them, then some other leftist group. It seems lefties aren't held down by family commitments, jobs, adult responsibilities, etc so they have plenty of free time to "make some noise".

This lists 32 different protests which would have occurred in numerous cities for each one with some being more geographically focused than others.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o..._racial_unrest

Probably also depends if you count the smaller ones or the ones that went on for consequtive nights.

Yes. Portland alone had violence at a protest every night for several months straight.

The fact that you even doubt this, shows how much our mainstream media is propaganda pushing an agenda instead of reporting the news as it is. In Michigan there was a conservative protest that I disagreed with in the spring of 2020, no physical harm to anyone and no property damage, yet the local media portrayed it as violent. Enter leftist riots, which were mostly peaceful to the media.

CNN and other media sources did say "mostly peaceful," but I don't ever recall Fox saying "entire cities burnt down."

FoxNews is slanted like NPR, MSNBC, or CNN, but it is funny that we use factual quotes to bash CNN and invented mythical quotes to bash FoxNews.
