- It's absolutely clear that people want this therapeutic. They want to get hold of it so much that they go as far as to source it from shady tractor supply stores and God knows where else. After all, the majority of Americans aren't sheep (contrary to the FDA's memorable tweet), they see that Ivermectin is indeed used for Covid-19 in many parts of the world - and not just in backwards 3rd world nations, but countries in the European Union as well.
- It is a scientific fact that Ivermectin in its human form, when used by the established EU protocol, is virtually harmless. It has even less side effects and a harmless toxicity profile than Acetaminophen, the world's most widely used generic painkiller.
- Guys, honestly. Instead of shaming these people, wouldn't it be a more sensible (and health-conscious) approach from the FDA to put out a simple Ivermectin guideline for doctors so they could prescribe the human form for those that really want it? It would be a simple 5-7 day protocol with a small 12-15 mg daily dosing regimen like in the rest of the world where it is legally prescribed. That's all it would take. No one in their right mind would run to the local farm store after that.
- What can America lose? Those who aren't vaccinated and the ones that don't want any more booster shots could finally get their damn off-label Ivermectin tablets from the closest pharmacy. There is even a chance that it could help. There is science behind this pill. There are no side-effects. It's dirt cheap, it's generic and there's plenty of it. So what's the big deal here?
- Last but not least, whatever political side anybody's on (why is this a political issue anyway??), isn't it absolutely ridiculous to get all worked up about a harmless generic pill that some of your fellow Americans want to try off-label?
Can someone enlighten me what are the impossible obstacles to such an approach?

Its pretty easy. Find a doctor to do a online session with you and have the prescribe it.
There is a website that lists doctors that believe in it and do prescribe it . I have one saved in my Area that does it (if it was ever needed).
I'm guessing this horse-paste craze is fueled by people who don't like going to the doctor. It wouldn't be the first time people tried to circumvent a prescription.

The only difference between the horse paste and the human form is the dosage. Chemically they are exactly the same.
Two are taking it prophylactically and one is holding onto it in case he gets Covid, so I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you, Jimmy.
