Sioux Falls ended 2021 with 7 homicides. Of the 7 homicides, two victims were Black (one ran over by a car, another one shot). Two perpetrators were Black (the two perps stabbed another persons).

The problem is clearly guns.

Sioux Falls must not have access to any while Jackson MS has lots of them.

We have a repeat poster from the south side of Chicago that keeps claiming the problem is guns. Meanwhile neighborhoods in Chicago routinely have 1-2 gun murders a year per 100k....while others have 30-40 gun murders per 100k.

Gee, maybe um, there is some other reason? Nah...that would require an actual education and lack of political bias so bad that someone could literally pee down your back and tell you it's rain. #outlawjoseywales

I notice that with Sioux Falls, there are several stabbings. In a state where guns are not hard to get, stabbings make up a relatively high percentage of the murder victims.

2 stabbings, 2 shootings, 2 ran over by a car, and a baby was assaulted. Only 2 homicides involved guns. The rest involved knives, a car, and blunt force.

No, reality is not racism. It’s just reality.

Mississippi has been a state with a high murder rate for decades upon decades. It was like this in the 1940s/1950s.

I ride the bike trail a lot in Sioux Falls and there have been lots of police patrolling it since summer started, on motorcycles and ATVs. They are doing their best to keep crime under control, but it is increasing.

Democrats have gotten a bit more power in the city as of late.. not enough to destroy it or anything, but diversity is increasing, and drug use has increased. Diversity plus drug use equals higher crime rates, whether people want to admit or accept this or not.

It's easy to see why red politicians want to keep the lid on drug use... drugs destroy society. There's no easy answer here in a classically liberal society where we encourage so much freedom of choice and expression.

everything in the OP statement might possibly be true, in fact it is. But what exactly are you pointing out? You point out that the GOP area is safer than the DEM area, and at the same time point out the 'white area' (cmon, its got to be at least partly ***** <-- i n d i a n seriously????) is safer than the 'black area'

so what are the conclusions we are to take from this if someone was interested in fixing it?
