Seriously so true

The average efficacy of the 3 vaccines was 90% against SARS CoV- 2.

Not possible to claim it would be equally effective against a variant that had yet to emerge.

That declined to 66% against the Delta variant.

The durability of any vaccine was unknown. In July , 2021 Pfizer announced the efficacy begins to decline at the 6 month mark.

So yes it continues to spread.
Further complicated with the Delta variant that first emerged amongst the 1.4 billion unvaccinated population in India and took off like a global wild fire.

Maybe eventually we will add some post-infection treatments to the tool-box?
There are more treatments than were available a year ago.

Like vaccines, no treatment is effective or side effect free on all people, all the time.

They just don't work.
The Delta variant emerged amongst the 1.4 billion unvaccinated population in India in December.

The durability of immunity associated with a prior infection is unknown and highly variable.

While anecdotal, I know 2 people who have been infected and hospitalized twice. They are middle- aged and otherwise healthy.

The US is "special" in that we don't have breakthrough cases like the rest of the world.
2.6 million out of a population of 9.3 million in Israel have received a third dose.

What’s with these absolutes?

CDC is saying the majority of those hospitalized are unvaccinated. A majority is not all.

“ Not happen here” ? On 8/12, the FDA took action on Pfizer third doses, initially limited to
Immune compromised people.

Change the narrative, now that the shot doesn't do what they promised. We gotta salvage the brainwashing somehow - so, say that now. Right?

Well of course vaccine makers knew viruses mutate in every host because that’s what viruses do.

What they did not and could not know was the specific genome of future mutations, let alone which future mutations would survive or its characteristics.
