Yet we have more cases in the hospital than last year when no one was vaccinated.
Israel has been giving boosters since July and are up to anyone 30+ and they have a huge surge of hospitalizations.
With so many vaccinated and so many with natural immunity we have MORE people catching covid than last year.
It can't be all due to the "unvaccinated" because last year all of us were "unvaccinated" and few had natural immunity.
And just looking at the numbers since January (start of vaccines) the more we vaccinated the higher the surges become.
Or is the goal to minimize symptoms, thus lessening the impact to the health care system and hopefully preventing some loss of life?
It was to prevent infection until everyone found out it doesn't. Then? The narrative changed.
You know how I know this? Because I linked to the information pages from the 'vaccine' makers, themselves, to this forum, repeatedly, highlighting where it said it 'may' not 'would' prevent Covid. That it 'may' make the MINOR SYMPTOMS LESS, not major symptoms. And, yet, people still stood on top of their high horses acting like they were immune from getting it, while everyone else was a grandma killer.
But now? Now everyone is trying to pretend that 'of course it doesn't prevent Covid' is what they said all along.

They've moved the goalposts as the data has come in. Initially it was supposed to make you immune.

It seems all they're good for is DISABLING HUMAN IMMUNE SYSTEMS!!!
It seems that they work, in the sense that your symptoms are likely to be much less severe if you do have a breakthrough infection. Looking at the numbers from hospitals in my state, when comparing the number of hospitalizations from vaccinated vs unvaccinated, it shows that unvaccinated people make up a much larger segment of the total hospitalizations, and over 3x the number of ICU patients.
There are more people with covid because delta is 8 times more contagious than original covid strain.
The vaccine is doing its job in reducing the risk for severe complications and needing to be hospitalized.

Your state has a breakdown of vaccinated vs unvaccinated ?
Can you post a link ?

That's not true in Israel. I posted the link. The majority of their hospitalized COVID patients had already been fully vaccinated.

I don't think this is a good point. If the country is 100% vaccinated, it will be 100% of of the hospitalized being vaxxed. It does reduce symptoms but that's not what we were sold.
