First time historically a full purge.

Boards in the business world or government should be oversight and/or to keep the actual 'management' honest. It's not all about the resume that's why there are frequently some unique or not their specialty hires. In some respects that's a good thing because one doesn't necessarily want a rubber stamp on a board. But in this case that's exactly what Biden and company want. His feelings and ego were hurt by Afghanistan and now wants to groom military leadership to his liking. He didn't like the negative press including ex and/or current military commentary.

When you realize this regime hates the country, everything they do makes sense.

They're political appointees, and serve "at the pleasure of".

Actually no. These appointments have a defined term of three years. The ones that are "at the pleasure of the President" do not have any term length defined. Examples of those would be US Attorneys, Cabinet Secretaries, many sub-Cabinet appointments, the Surgeon General.

I remember the screams when Trump, and Bush and Reagan replaced the US Attorneys. So the hypocrisy continues.

It will be interesting if anyone litigates this. I can see McMaster doing so just because he's an overall prick.

I read the article. I found this...

Quote:
Van Susteren tweeted her husband’s termination letter and wrote, “This is lousy… [Coale] merely wanted to help – this is a non partisan Board of Americans volunteering to help.”

She added: “And by the way, both political parties do this and it is rotten..how do Administrations expect to foster non partisanship among Americans when they act partisan with volunteer boards that have no power to effectual [sic] American policy?”

Republicans become all in for bi- and non-partisanship as soon as they lose.
