Different variants of the virus have different characteristics. Delta and now Omicron are able to seep through cloth masks, rendering them ineffective. This doesn’t mean “masks don’t work” however as KN-95 and equivalent masks have still been proven to be effective. We ordered a few large packs of KF-94 masks (the Korean version of the KN-95). Problem solved.

I don't claim to be "smarting" than anyone, but I know what my eyes, ears, and experience tell me. The experts are telling me that I'm hearing "let's go Brandon!" and that's the end of it because they follow the science. LOL.

You may want to consider seeking out new sources because you seem to be prone to believing a lot of the disinformation being spread around in social media and conspiracy blogs that pretend to be legitimate media sources.

While there might be some truth that nonvaccinated people--and I am one of them but carrying antibodies since Feb. 2021-- carry the virus and cause mutations, I tend to think reason for the zeal behind the vaxxers to preach and enforce vaccination has much more to do with psychology. The vaxxers are suffering from Buyer's Remorse or Misery Loves Company. They don't know the long term consequences of the mRNA vaccines. And they see millions of people around them unvaccinated, unmasked and enjoying life pretty much like it was before the Pandemic and that must cause envy if not jealousy.
Anyway, the way the world is connected, it was and will be impossible to vaccinate 8 billion people quick and effective enough to prevent new variants from emerging and spreading. The path forward was/is to protect the vulnerable ones as much as possible and let the healthier people of humanity develop Herd Immunity even if at some cost. Idiots in charge at CDC had the data available even in the summer of 2020 to come up with a sensible strategy. But to them vaccination has become a dogma.

Liberals are really confusing. They claim they "hope all the unvaccinated just die off" which makes no sense.

1. It's a 98% survival rate virus. The entire reason for refusing the vaccine, is knowing it's low chance of killing you.

2. People of color, nationally and globally, will always be the most unvaccinated. So wishing the unvax would die would kill your liberal voter base and make the world far more homogenously white.

3. If you're an upset liberal over lockdowns, why the hell would you be mad at the unvax and not the government? You can control who you vote for, you can't control someone else's body.
