The Department of Justice filed a notice in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday to start the process to overturn the decision by U.S. District Court Judge Andrew Hanen in favor of nine states led by Texas that found the creation of the DACA program violated federal administrative law.

This unconstitutional program needs to end once and for all! It's a magnet for parents to enter our country illegally with their kids in tow to not only anchor themselves onto our country but to take advantage of taxpayer benefits for these kids such as education for them, etc.

the 5th Circuit is dominated (>2 to 1) with judges who were appointed by a Republican POTUS vs a Democrat. What that means to their history of rulings, or any legal precedents for this case, who knows.

There is no justification for granting these DACAs legalization or our citizenship. Still waiting for the pro-DACA's to counter my valid reasons why we shouldn't under my post #269 here. Crickets.

Not one pro-DACA in here has addressed all 4 of my reasons for not legalizing them. They have only touched on it by saying "well they are here and net contributors" which is false for them and all illegal aliens and does not address all of my points. Here is a link to FAIR again bolstering my points and no, they aren't anti-"immigration" they are anti-illegal alien. Wanting legal immigration reduced to more reasonable numbers does not make one anti-immigrant either. Let's see if they address all of the points made by FAIR since they refuse to address mine. I won't hold my breath though it will just be the usual bleeding heart nonsense and false claims.

Trump asked for full funding of the wall in exchange for DACA. The Democrats offered a mere pittance of what he requested and they wanted to spread it out over 10 years and that's why the deal fell through. Think of how many illegals would have gotten into our country by then.
