Here is my take on this. I was a teenager when 9/11 happened. I was also in NYC heading to school from the south Bronx all the way up in the north Bronx in coop city and I saw smoke coming out of tower 1 from 17 miles away. It was very odd. The whole day we did not do school work and school was lock down. Students who had parents who worked at the world trade or in the financial district was called to the main office and one of my best friends dad was down there as cop but was not hurt.
With that said. I'm no fan of the woke just like I'm no fan of the maga patriot, and both segments of the population are anti liberalism and want to tear down America and replace it with soemthing more fair in there eyes. I understand where the woke and maga comes from but I don't agree with such ideologies since both are agaisnt liberalism.
As for the woke educators. 9/11 will just be an historical footnote in American history, while the events of last year such as trump Antiracism are seen as a problem. And for those hwo follow George Floyd. His death is no different than pearl harbor, his death is no different than September 11. For the woke teach activist. May 25th will be a day that lives in infamy than say 9/11 or December 7th. Especially since many children were born after 9/11. They will see George Floyd event as something traumatizing.
