So what's Biden's response? He's going to have Merrick Garland sue the state. Are you kidding me? That's it? Even Uber and Lyft had more forceful responses. I'm sure Greg Abbott is shaking in his boots at the prospect of having to deal with Merrick Garland. The House isn't going GOP next year just because of policy, but because of this weak, pitiful ineptitude.
They both have their ups and downs.

Democrats couldnt collectively find half a sack between the lot of them while republicans have the collective IQ of Neanderthals.

What do you think the Fed Gov should do, other than what they're doing? Please be specific.

Welcome to living with laws you hate, think are stupid, and don't agree with. Now quit whining. The rest of us have been doing that a long, long time. And now, in the last few months, we've been doing it a lot more. So I guess I can take a mirrored leftist attitude and just say I hope the government imposes all kinds of new laws and tyrannical regulation that will give libs an aneurism and cause them a meltdown and causes them to caterwaul even more than they already do.

But I won't take that attitude. Because I believe in individual liberty and abhor repressive government. But I will say, I don't feel one damn bit sorry for any discomfort caused to a liberal because of any law that is passed that REALLY gets under their skin. Welcome to tyranny, comrade. Hope it hurts as bad as your pet laws hurt the rest of us.

Texas has as much right to impose restrictions on abortion as Illinois does to impose a requirement for a FOID card to possess a firearm.

It ebbs and flows.

Democrats eventually change the culture and law. They got Obamacare, gay marriage, immigration, and weed. Not to the fullest extent they'd like, especially on weed and health care, but they are perfectly fine with baby steps.

Republicans are in the unfortunate position to be in status quo camp on issues which is a much harder sale over time.

I think they should look for ways to impact TX financially/economically.

One way would be through federal/military jobs. Relocating offices would probably require congressional approval.

But, heads of agencies could through attrition let positions stay vacant and move workloads to other places.
