Red, White and Blue represent the US.

The "woke" in America don't like America so anything American, like the flag colors, is offensive to them.

Yet none have an inclination to leave. They would rather live here and spend their time hating America.

The "woke" are some of the least-educated of the population, parroting talking points while not being able to think critically.

It's funny how that cute little hypocrites never want to move anywhere....

What does the color of their skin have to do with anything? Why is the Left so race obsessed?

The school is NOT "nearly all black". African Americans are less than half of the student body andagain, what does the color of their skin have to do with the story or the schools ranking?

No, the students DID NOT dub it Patriot Day, it WAS Patriot Day by a declaration of Congress.

Why would Eastlake have to involve Rainier Beach at all? PS, Remembrance Day is November 11.

Why are you trying to tell people how they need to honor the victims, survivors and heroes of 9-11?

There is NOTHING confusing about wearing Red, White & Blue for Patriot Day.

No, it merely means he isn't a micro manager, but probably needs to be. When he heard what his staff member did, he should have apologized to the student leaders and told them to continue with their plans, then counseled the staff member on how to make better decisions.

The football team in New England?

Remembrance Day is November 11.

In YOUR MIND. You don't think people who voted for Donald Trump are patriotic.

No it doesn't. People understand words in context. No one goes to the play "The Gay Divorcee" and thinks it is going to be about Ellen's ex.

Only people with a built in prejudice, who are not patriotic.

Lots of things that are not common events get blown up in sensationalized and divisive stories.... oh say like George Floyd's death.

It is in the news because it was grievously wrong and never should have happened.

When has the Left ever cared about the U.S. Flag Code?

There was NOT "more to the story". It was a bad call by a school staff member and the Superintendent and Principle need to just say that, it was a bad call, they are very sorry it happened and they will work harder to educate their staff on appropriateness.

Yes, me too.

You killed it with this post. Tried to rep you but have to wait.
