Most public schools in FL began the school year over a month ago. Our county started August 10th.

Uh, that qualifies as just started.

You go to school nine months per year...roughly. If you are a month in, or a little over a month in, that's "just started" by any reasonable standard.

Sorry for your losses but, what is your point?

How about some details?

What are the ages?

Did they have other medical conditions?

Etc., etc., etc.

My point people have lost loved ones. They don't care what the decline is, so as far as they're concerned there is a 100% loss in their lives.
