This is the situation in my area is bad - we have state prison nurses in NY leaving, county hospital nurses resigning as well as for profit hospital nurses resigning. They called my cousin back at $50 an hour part time just to administer shots as they don't have enough workers to give vaccines. The school buses have been late an hour or 2 all week as the bus drivers quit and we are having the National Guard come in this week to transport children.
People here live in a bubble or in gated communities that they don't see or hear what's going on in the real world - not the Shangri-La the Biden administration and the media presents. These situations are going on all over the country and not reported by the media. God forbid any of you have a life threatening emergency because I'm sure not one of you will stop to ask if the person administering help is vaccinated.
I have not seen any news stories that indicate those types of problems in NY. Getting school bus drivers has been a problem in many places but has nothing to do with vaccinations. There is a critical nursing shortage in Texas and other states related to the virus but not NY. If people want to help out with the shortages then get vaccinated.

as to the other agencies you named, they were ALL subject to the EO: get vaxxed or get tested regularly. And now Biden has changed. He just can't force the other branches of government (Congress & judicial) nor can he force state/local governments.
Sure, and its all illegal, but hey lets let the Fuhrer tell us what to do. Lets ignore natural immunity or the fact the vaccine doesn't work, or the fact the virus isn't nearly as deadly as people want to believe.
The most incredible vaccine ever that doesn't do anything, but lets force people to do whatever. How about no forcing people to drive cause they could kill someone.
My wife turned down a job Friday because they required the vaccine within 1 week of unemployment, sorry NO JOB much less one working 3rd shift making 15.75$ an hour is worth getting that poison injected into us. Meh good thing she has at least 2 other job offers.

Well there is no law yet. Normally it goes through the Labor board and is open for comments and such...the process you know and then on to OSHA.
But...they are talking about "emergency standard" which bypasses the entire process and *poof*, OSHA has a rule.
We'll have to wait and see what happens. Lots of "bypassing the process" these days to instill new rules and regulations that normally would be challenged and shot down as violating civil rights.

I know that 335 are being flown to my area - when we know the Lambda variant is overwhelming South America and the majority of these people aren't vaccinated. Seems to me you should be more concerned about that since it's a more dangerous virus than what is currently affecting people in the US. Just because you are vaxxed does not mean that these variants will not take hold in the vaxxed population and cause more problems. Just like flu shots - you can not predict with any certainty if it will protect you from other strains.
