Meanwhile the Ivermectin state: Uttar Pradesh, despite its population of 240 million people, has been averaging fewer than 20 cases over the past few months for its seven-day rolling average.

Google Covid cases in Uttar Pradesh, where the population had delivered access to Ivermectin. Look at the curve. Compare against a google search of Covid cases in Kerala, where it wasn't offered.
This isn't a right-wing US publication like gatewaypundit or brietbart.
I didn't have an issue with vax mandates on concerts, but Biden's mandate on employers with over 100 employees is overreach and also senseless. A dental hygienist (who interacts with many people) and is a contractor to dentists won't have to get vaccinated but a programmer working in a company of over 100 employees and remotely would be forced to get vaccinated. Does that make any sense?
A retired person, most likely older and more vulnerable, or welfare recipient, likely having a poor diet, won't have to get vaccinated but are more likely to get serious case of covid. Just a lot of flaws in mandating vaccinations, let alone the vaccinations aren't 100% safe. I know about the weekly testing as an opt out, but it's also onerous.
