I know there are a few CBP agents and officers voted for Biden. It’s only a few but they are out there. I am wondering if those CBP agents/officers know Biden’s stance on CBP or ICE or law enforcement in general.
This is beyond dumb. The media and DC elites know as much about horse tack as they do guns.
The Border Patrol mounted guys use those split reins, because they are way less likely to snag in the thick and dense brush you find along the Rio Grande and most parts of South Texas. One piece reins tend to get caught on everything and slow them down and can cause unwanted dismounts or other injuries to the rider.

Yup, with no evidence, except blind conjecture from a politically biased web site, President Biden just banned horses from being used by border patrol officers. This will help people escape from border patrol agents, as they use routes that are known to be inaccessible by motorized vehicles.

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The photographer behind images depicting Border Patrol agents on horseback told KTSM things are not exactly what they seem when it comes to the photos.
The photographs, which were taken Sunday, appear to show agents on horses with a whip in hand. The photos caused outrage because from certain angles, it appears to show Border Patrol whipping migrants, but photographer Paul Ratje said he and his colleagues never saw agents whipping anyone.
“I’ve never seen them whip anyone,” Ratje said. “He was swinging it, but it can be misconstrued when you’re looking at the picture.”
Reminds me of Obama and the “stupid police” when he jumped to conclusions without checking for facts.
Mayorkus first said there was no whipping, before somebody made him change his story.
2 CongressCritters from that area (a Democrat & a Republican) both said there was no whipping.
The Leftists have to bring “Slavery” into everything. They were pretending these 15,000 people Crisis on the Border did not even exist until this picture was published. They are disgusting, and they are hurting Democrats in these Blue areas of Texas.

I'm not in favor of crowds of Haitians coming into the US and I don't think banning horses at the border is a good idea either, but please remember that 'whipping' is a verb, not a noun. In order to 'whip' someone you don't have to use an actual whip. How many parents tell their kids they're going to get a whipping when they misbehave? It doesn't mean they are going to pull out a whip. FYI as someone who has ridden their share of horses, getting hit with leather split reins wouldn't feel all that good regardless of what you want to call it.
