Both parties have caused division. Not just the dems. Trump was the master at causing division. We haven't had any REAL leaders that brought the country together in decades

True. The majority of Backs don't want to get vaccinated. So, they are on Biden's s@#t list. He's patience will only go so far with them. Meanwhile thousands of unvaccinated illegals crossing into the United States.
The illegals are exempt as well as the Afghans, I like to know is why?

It is utter insanity to fire this many health workers. Especially workers who were on the front lines through the worst of Covid.
I'm surprised hospitals aren't suing the governor for blocking their ability to staff their hospitals.
Blows me away how vaccination rates amongst nursing home employees throughout the US are relatively low.
Many nursing homes did a literally lockdown. Residents not permitted to leave and guests not allowed to visit. Community dining and activities were cancelled. Nonetheless, Covid infections persist.
Most with serious Covid are transferred to hospice or hospitals. There are 3000+ county public health departments and no consistency if/ how such infections are tracked.
Covid has been coming in the door with every shift change.
Employee vaccination rate in some nursing homes, including VA, is less than 20%.
Most employees in nursing homes are at the low end of clinical certification or less, not RNs.
Most nursing homes are private for profit businesses substantially dependent on state Medicaid for income.
The Democrats are testing their scary agenda on the American public.
What the Democrats politicians are doing is unspeakable and unbelievable. The virus is very real but the Democratic politicians are testing out as scary fascist agenda.
Statewide state of emergency which would pause ICU transfers and suspend elective surgeries.
Because rather then blame the virus and that their holy grail of a vaccine isn't working so well they turned around and blamed people...various groups of people.

The durability of the vaccine over time was unknown, given the expedited global trials/ approval.
Seems a tad unreasonable to expect any vaccine to end the pandemic of a virus that did not exist when the vaccine was developed, trialed and approved.
The Delta variant emerged amongst the 1.4 billion unvaccinated in India, last December. Had that population been magically fully vaccinated, Delta would not have stood a chance. But that was not the case.
We are now learning that antibodies diminish over time regardless of how the antibodies were acquired, prior infection vs treatment vs vaccine.
What we do know is vaccine prevents progression of the virus to serious Covid, in most people.
Delta is 50% more contagious than the Alpha variant which is 50% more contagious than the original.
I thank our lucky stars that Delta was not the original virus, which emerged in late 2019.

You are right. It was marketed as "95% effective in preventing covid" when it became available.
