yup supply chains have not been fixed and as demand surges, supplies can't keep up forcing prices up.

I do agree that globally leaders have to address this issue.

and NONE OF THIS is new.

This has been in the news for months now and folks choosing to play silly political games blame it on stimulus checks and govt. spending.

Nope that is not it.
We didn't fix this under Trump so anything Biden did was already eight months behind the eight ball. Not blaming Trump but to blame the sitting president is merely partisan if you fail to acknowledge inaction to correct it under the previous administration.

I already mostly got my Christmas shopping done at the beginning of the month, so supply chain issues aren't gonna effect me that way... yes I'm hurt with most prices going up, but I also got a sizable raise.

ship not vaccinated . Only US Citizens need the JAB, aliens excused
No dock workers (labor shortage)
No trucks ( labor shortage)
Transport charges up a lot.

I’ve done all my Christmas shopping except for a few I will get this week.
Got the Fall garden in today.
Hunting season in just about a month - meat for the winter
2 Freezers & watching sales now.
We actually know how to cook & even bake our own bread when necessary

Like I’ve said, been there/ done this and know how it ends.

6% price increase YoY???!! And shortages going into the holiday season. What a disaster!

This is not good for the dems going in to the midterms if the suburbanite soccer moms can’t fill up their carts at Cosco!
That's nothing, compared to what's coming.

Everyone will soon be a "prepper"

How could the previous president take action when the problem you are speaking of occurred after he left office? Do you think the White House is equipped with some sort of time machine? That makes no logical sense. People are blaming Biden for the problems that are happening on his watch, which is exactly the way it has always worked. If he doesn't like it, he shouldn't have taken the job. If you don't like it, you shouldn't have installed him.

Biden might get handled with kid gloves by the media, but the common man and women on the street, who has to live through his disasters, is going to look at things much differently. They aren't going to make excuses for this administration when they are the ones suffering and being punished for Biden's incompetence. They certainly are not going to pat him on the back and say "awww at least he tried!"... Only Biden's most brainwashed followers are making any effort to defend this clown show. So quit being a clown and wake up to the reality that the rest of us have to deal with. People are angry, and rightfully so.

I wouldn't necessary blame most of it on Biden. The extended shutdown wasn't Federal so I don't blame Trump either. The governors messed up by keeping their states closed and Trump messed up by not cancelling Federal extended unemployment. I give him more of a pass because it was a completely unusual situation.

Biden's fault starts with his mandates and his continued spending.

You don’t have to be a “prepper” and prepare for a year of no supplies - i.e. Armageddon
You just have to accept Reality & figure out how to get through what is surely coming in the short term.

Learn to cook & how to supply a Pantry
Learn to eat a week on 1 chicken.
Learn to grow what you can & barter if necessary
Learn how to keep warm in the winter
Learn how to conserve and what to conserve. Give up the “order in”.

Yes, indeed.
All by design.
Gotta hand it to the democrats - it only took over 70 years for them to usher in socialism, but they kept at it, with a little help from the 'rona hysteria.

The issues of the supply chain were known under Trump. The computer chip shortages for cars for instance, did indeed start under Trump because the chips effected video game systems for Christmas. Nobody blamed Trump for it the way we are with Biden for shortages and supply chain issues. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/29/b...-shortage.html

Biden is handled with "kid's gloves by the media" by comparison to Trump, but that is largely because Trump would actively combat the media and gaslight us all. The media pushed back. Should they do it on Biden, I'm unsure. In some ways they have. Especially with the border and Afghanistan. Maybe not as much as Fox News or OAN fans may like, but they have.

As for your personal attacks, grow up.

The problem was at the time Trump was leaving office, we had the winter/Christmas wave so ending Federal unemployment was bad policy. Hell, many people didn't return to work for other reasons such as fear of getting COVID and childcare costs despite getting high-balled.

We have several months supply of food. Rabbit season isn't until December, so that will wait.
