How is that any different from the past? Anybody with a smattering of emotional intelligence knows it's necessary to self-censor most of the time.

We aren't dealing with a high-level of emotional intelligence with most of the folks in here.

I remember my Poli Sci teacher in college (mid to late 70's) who made no secret of her admiration for Angela Davis. She and I disagreed often in class, but even though I wouldn't back down on my opinions, I still got an "A" for that class. I wonder how many college teachers/professors would be that fair/open-minded today? Judging from some of what I read, my guess would be "Not many."
