Our bank started that last year. We had a savings account with 25 dollars in it, to keep it open as a record of paying child support. They sent a form to us for us to pay taxes on that. Needless to say we've closed the account. Haven't had to pay child support due to their ages and was covering our bases because the mother said that I wasn't paying. It was a different story when I brought all, I mean ALL my receipts to court. The look on her face though! Priceless.
Maybe it's time for everyone to withdraw everything, close accounts and keep your cash and other documents inside a personal safe. Have been thinking about that very hard lately.

People won't trust banks anymore and will start keeping their money in other places away from banks and paying everything in cash.
