Thunberg plays the greenie well, but there are strong rumours that she has been using her new wealth to buy a half share in an ex Polish air force Mig-23 - the kid might drink soy lattes, but it seems she also feels the need for speed.

She'd better remove the engines and make it a glider. Because, otherwise, carbon emissions! Or she can be a hypocrite, like so many climate-alarmist greenies.

A kid says “don’t leave a giant mess for my generation to clean up”. Conservatives flip out.

Isn’t that the same argument conservatives have for austerity? “We shouldn’t leave a giant debt for our kids to deal with” then they cut taxes on the wealthy and force austerity on everyone else.

Really just seems like conservatives just want to be free from being inconvenienced.

And looks and sounds ridiculous doing it. So much anger for such a young person. Yikes.

Always has been that way, just like the younger generation always blame the older generation for the world problems, it’s nothing new. She’s just a kid, she was given a voice, I just hope she isn’t being used. I hope she has a great life and nothing but the best for her.

Sure, they do stupid things but so did I.

But millennials and GenZ are pretty much on the same boat. We see how things are. And sadly our elders live in an alternate reality. They’re set. So of course they’re not gonna really see the issues we will face in the future thanks to policies put in place before millennials could even vote.
The boomers thought the same thing about the greatest generation, now that I’m older, I realize they grew up during the depression and fought in Ww2, they were survivors.

Even as a child, I disliked attention seeking 'smarty pants' kids. Adults seem to find them entertaining, like performing monkeys.
