Perhaps it is time for patriotic, freedom loving American Citizens, to take a page from the black lives matter playbook and energetically demonstrate in the streets.
The fact is, Justice Sotomayor gave the finger to New Yorkers and spat upon that part of our constitution guaranteeing their right to petition their government for a redress of grievances and be heard. And, she also ignores the irrefutable fact that the NYC COVID vaccine mandate impinges upon a fundamental right!
See: Washington v. Harper, 494 U.S. 210, 229 (1990): “The forcible injection of medication into a nonconsenting person’s body represents a substantial interference with that person’s liberty."
And, impinging "... upon a fundamental right explicitly or implicitly secured by the Constitution is presumptively unconstitutional.” See: Harris v. McRae United States Supreme Court (1980) Also see City of Mobile v. Bolden, 466 U.S. 55, 76, 100 S.Ct. 1490, 64 L.Ed.2d 47 (1980)
And this brings us to the protection afforded under strict scrutiny and the courts obligation to judge the law within the limitations of strict scrutiny, so as to protect the people's fundamental rights from being trampled upon as is the case under New York City's COVID vaccine mandate.
Keep in mind “The mere chilling of a Constitutional right by a penalty on its exercise is patently unconstitutional.” Shapiro v. Thompson, 394 U.S. 618. The NYC vaccine mandate leaves no option for the teachers as is given to other city employees, i.e., a periodic testing for COVID, and not giving this option to the teachers violates the equal protection of law which is fundamental to our system of government and obligates the court to hear the people and resolve the issue within the mandates of our constitutional system.
Justice Sotomayor's refusal to hear the people's complaint is just another inch toward total tyranny which we were amply warned to avoid:
"When a free people submit to oppressive acts, passed in violation of their constitution, for a single day, they have thrown down the palladium of their liberty. Submit to despotism for an hour and you concede the principle. John Adams said, in 1775, Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud. It is the only thing a people determined to be free can do. There have been lots of demonstrations that have gone nowhere.
The only reason the BLM ones got attention was because of the violence they precipitated.
I really can't promote that and yet...............

The teachers go on to argue there is no rational and non-discriminatory basis for treating teachers differently than other city workers.
The fact is, under the strict scrutiny test, which is available when a fundamental right hangs in the balance, the New York City mandate fails and the teachers should prevail in a full court hearing.
Keep in mind, a one-size-fits-all COVID vaccine mandate which is not "narrowly tailored" to achieve the government's compelling purpose, which must be clearly stated, and does not use the "least restrictive means" to achieve the purpose, fails under strict scrutiny.
Justice Sonia Sotomayor should grant a temporary injunction and have a full hearing scheduled.

So, let’s be real honest .... Chief Justice Roberts, who is supposed to be a “conservative” has sided with the liberals on so many key decisions thus far, the veil has now been removed.
Whether you liked him or hated him, Donald Trump exposed the true depth of corruption and lawlessness of our various institutions and the people in high places that run and operate them. This is only applicable to State employees in Florida. Also, the city put forth no evidence at all. The case really can't be applied to any other circumstance.
My D-in-law works in manatee county. Think 4 county employees have died that worked there, and countless others tested positive. Yes - why should she go to work in an unhealthy environment??

It is precisely the mater of public health which demands resistance to these injections.
Aside the petite monster these injections claim to defend against, the Pfizer and AstraZeneca solutions seem to have their own petite monsters lurking inside, among other not so nice things, as was found by Dr Robert Young, using Phase Contrast Microscopy, Transmission & Scanning Electron Microscopy, and Energy-Dispersive Spectroscopy. This corroborates similar findings by researchers in Spain and Italy. Two Parasites of the microscopic variety that causes Chagas’ disease found in Latin America, and Human African Trypanosomiasis.
These are nasty critters, and infections are difficult to diagnose for those who have had no experience with them (medical folks outside the regions affected by them). The symptoms can be mild to almost asymptomatic in the early stages of infection, and if not treated early, late stage infections are fatal.
Dr Young said it was so common among the various samples tested, one could be forgiven for thinking their presence was deliberate.
But if you think those parasites are the only danger lurking in these “vaccines”, think again. All of them that have been tested have Graphene Oxide, and microscopic shards of stainless steel that autopsies have shown to be quite destructive to the human tissues they visit.
Well there are 5.56 reasons why I will never be forced. If those are not enuf there 7.62 more.
