All of the government-approved coronavirus vaccines have gone through rigorous testing and have been scientifically proved to be highly effective and safe.
The baseless claims which proliferate against the vaccines and inoculation on social media--- some pushing dangerous or ineffective treatments and phony protection---are preventing people from making reasoned and informed decisions about their health and safety and are prompting real-world problems, including unnecessary illness & suffering and death.
Truth matters. This is a step in the right direction.
Young people aren't rebelling. That's the problem. They're screaming at the top of their lungs for everyone older than them to comply with the authorities. That check on power which used to exist in our society has been "educated" out of them.
Don't use Google products including Android or Chrome book devices, Youtube, Fitbit and traffic update feature Waze. If they only want certain people to use their products maybe only certain people should actually use or buy their products.
Sidenote Russia wants to ban Google today for censoring/banning RT. Say what you want there just as good or accurate as many msm outlets in the US or west today.
Do social media platforms like youtube, facebook, twitter get paid to cancel people, channels etc? They must get compensated somehow.
They get compensated. How and by whom will not be known, if ever. These kinds of business decisions are not made on a whim. They just don't toss out the revenue that would have been generated out of the goodness of their hearts.

Adam Schiff (D-CA), sent a letter to Sundar Pichai and Mark Zuckerberg, the Chief Executive Officers of Google and Facebook, respectively, to express concern that the company’s platforms including YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, are surfacing and recommending information that discourages parents from vaccinating their children, contributing to declining vaccination rates which could reverse progress made in tackling vaccine-preventable diseases.
“As a Member of Congress who is deeply concerned about declining vaccination rates, I am requesting additional information on the steps that you currently take to provide medically accurate information on vaccinations to your users, and to encourage you to consider additional steps you can take to address this growing problem,” Schiff wrote in the letter. “I was pleased to see YouTube’s recent announcement that it will no longer recommend videos that violate its community guidelines, such as conspiracy theories or medically inaccurate videos, and encourage further action to be taken related to vaccine misinformation.”
