Thank you Youtube for creating a Streisand effect and for making Bitchute, Rumble, Odysee, Dailymotion more popular.

Edit: Isn't a coincidence then they decided after Project Veritas posted their videos?

https://rumble.com/

Use the above link where there is free speech. Go to rumble to help you make up your mind. Republicans don't believe in censorship. We don't need the head of Facebook or Youtube to tell us what is right or wrong.

Restaurants that wanted to stay open during the lockdowns???

Not so much.

Christian bakers who want to choose who they do business with or not???

Not even.

I am a Libertarian and pro business and actually understand the first amendment. I don't know who the you folks comment was slanted towards.

Restaurants 100% should have been allowed to stay open. No shutdowns at all. And the Christian baker should be able to refuse making a cake that offends him.

And... (drum roll)

Google should be able to run youtube as it chooses. I am a very strong fiscal conservative. Way to the right of the current Trump GOP and that means business should have more power, government much less.

The dems and GOP are totally hypocritical on the above. That is one reason I am a Libertarian.

So the market responded?

Outstanding!

Maybe the Trump crowd will learn what capitalism is after all.

Not directly linked to Youtube's decision about the anti-vaccine clips, they tested the water first by censoring RT channels first and Russia is pissed by that.

The Kremlin on Wednesday slammed YouTube for unwarranted "censorship" and "media obstruction" after the day prior the Google-owned video hosting platform suddenly blocked two German RT channels, including RT Deutsch which was competing for traffic with major German news and politics channels. YouTube said the Russian state media channels had breached its Covid 'disinformation' policies.

At the time it was blocked RT Deutsch had over 600,000 subscribers and was approaching 600 million total views, according to Russian media reports. "Of course, there are signs that Russian laws have been violated, violated very rudely, as this, of course, is associated with censorship, and with obstruction of the media information dissemination," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

The more they censor, they more they attack, the more they give credence to the thing they are trying to fight against in the minds of those that believe it.

They are not protecting anyone. They are just making it worse.

Youtube is also removing anti-mask and anti-mandate videos.

Why would you people be happy with an echo chamber where only agreement is allowed ?

And then let the government dictate to the tech companies what is acceptable ?

The administration only wants clapping seals. Youtube, Google, facebook etc want to curry favor from administration.. Throw in an obvious Democrat CEO who supported Clinton 2016 this was not a surprise.

But what is disinformation in detail? Sounds like they're shooting messengers as much as the message.
