You have to keep on voting to keep up appearances that we still live in a democracy. Biden's second term is coming up (if he makes it). We should acknowledge Biden's win in 2024. Remember, that will also be a record setting election where Biden will get the most votes than any other President in history.

Isn't it a bit insane to keep voting in a process that you believe to be rigged?
An excellent point and unless Trump runs, or another non-politician, I am done with the whole thing.

Sounds like you are implying that people should just quit and give up. Is that correct?
I see voting itself as giving up but that’s besides the point.

I just don’t see the logic in voting when you believe the last election was rigged.

It’s like betting on an NFL game, believing the game was fixed, and then putting a bet down on the next game.

But aren’t they going to just screw Trump over again if he runs?

Well, as I've said repeatedly, I voted for Trump because he pissed off the establishment. He did his job very well. Just by being himself, he exposed a lot to those who always sat on their backsides and went with the status quo.

Now, if only those same people would actually get up and organize, go out and knock on doors, just like the left does, get out there in large numbers across the country to be a part of the process instead of the tired line, 'we make our voices heard at the voting booth', they could actually make a change.

Of course, this also requires that they stop acting like a bunch of Socialists, themselves. And get some education beyond saying, 'play stupid games, win stupid prizes'. Actually stop acting like aholes, know the material inside and out so that no matter what nonsense is thrown at them in rebuttal, they can give the correct information.

But most are too complacent.

I just saw someone earlier on this forum admit that she was too complacent, and agreed that made her part of the problem - yes. It did. But, to see someone admit that, publicly - it gives me a small glimmer of hope. That's the first step.

Most people are more concerned about their comfort, assuming it will stay that way, with just a bit of bickering about taxes and other 'slight' inconveniences, but the reality is, that time is running out.

Take a good long look at what you actually expect from the government, decide what side you're really on, because right now, I'm not seeing a whole lot of difference between Dem and Repub - there's still some, but not a whole lot.

And that? Is scary.

I will continue to vote for who I want. I voted Ron Paul, twice, I voted Trump, twice, I vote Ross Perot. Are you seeing a pattern here? I don't give a toss about the mainstream guy - because they are bought and sold, already. So, what difference would it make who won? Another establishment RINO or a Dem...really, it's a very, very small difference between the 2.

Kinda defeats the purpose of the ignore feature, doesn't it, when you let the OP know you have him/her on ignore? D'oh!

We don't have a single, national election, although the Democrats are trying to change that.
How do you figure that?

Except for the Republican guy in Pennsylvania who voted with his dead mother's ballot ... and other similar incidents. D'oh!

Exactly. If the 2020 elections were "rigged" and the results nullified, that would mean that every single contest on the ballot in question would be nullified, not just the presidential contest. That includes US Senate and House, state legislatures, county judges and representatives ... I wonder if the "stop the steal" maroons have thought about that?

It wouldn't be as insane as not to even try voting. Our responsibility is to vote and hope the results will be fair. I do think voter I. D. should be required. Good luck with that in North Carolina. Our state representatives keep making good laws which are either vetoed by our governor or the courts think three judges should have more power than all our elected officials. But you just have to keep trying. Not to vote would be to give up. Over my dead body!

There is a place in the Bible that explains that all powers on earth are in their positions because God allowed it. Sometimes people have to see how wrong a candidate is. I just hope we have a country left before the corrupt administration we have now goes. Democrats have all the power now and they can't even get along with each other. They're a sad bunch.

Wasn't that what many thought impacted the runoffs in Georgia. By hammering the integrity of the election many folks stayed home......and may have cost the Republicans two seats.

Democrats have a 1 seat majority in one chamber and a 5 seat majority in the other, if your argument is that Dems had all this power, then why didnt Trump get more power when he had actual functioning majorities ???
