Not every year. Maybe every 2-3 years when something big is on the line. (I.e. - Infrastructure bill)

Remember when the longest shutdown in US history was because the Demos didn't want to give $5 billion FOR BORDER SECURITY

Is that true? That's outrageous if so. Here the dems want to spend trillions on new "social" programs that will help perpetrate dependency on the federal government, and they held up a few billion for border security?

We are at $15 trillion of spending within a year. This is INSANE!!! It is unsustainable!!! But it won’t cost anything and inflation will just be temporary. $15 TRILLION. This spending bill along with all the social engineering and Marxist claptrap in this bill is going to kill this nation. This fanaticism is exhausting.
Where have you been for the last twenty years of this rearing it's head and being called "unsustainable", "fanaticism" and "Marxist" every single time but still an ongoing issue with either party running the show?

Do some of you take Rip Van Winkle pills or something? You only wake up when it's a Democrat in the Whitehouse - how convenient.

"The growth in the annual deficit under Trump ranks as the third-biggest increase, relative to the size of the economy, of any U.S. presidential administration, according to a calculation by a leading Washington budget maven, Eugene Steuerle, co-founder of the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center. And unlike George W. Bush and Abraham Lincoln, who oversaw the larger relative increases in deficits, Trump did not launch two foreign conflicts or have to pay for a civil war."

It was all Ted Cruz that caused it he filibustered it and Trump was fine with because he wanted 30 billion for his stupid wall then like 6 to 10 weeks later he caved. Trump did get to build like 10 to 20 miles of the wall was built it was junk it to low and easy to cut holes in it.

It's amazing isn't it. It's as if the they go into a coma when Republicans are in charge.

I don't know what the solution is. How do you ever get back to a balanced budget? I suspect you don't. I don't know what the end game is though.
