Um.... no, he wasn't, and people SHOULD take that seriously. If you're relatively young and relatively healthy, you have nothing to fear from this virus except some time off work.

When did disagreeing with something "cause illness"? You guys are going insane. I mean that quite literally. It's a mass psychosis, by definition.

It's not going to happen unless you simply ignore the government and act "normal" without their permission. They're never going to give it. You've demonstrated that they don't need to by waiting for permission to be free.

No government will ever just hand you your freedom once they've taken it - especially if they took it with your permission. You need to get that through your head. If you're waiting for a green light, may as well shut off the car. The light's staying red unless you get out and change the bulb yourself.

With the original virus, Pfizer and Moderna had pretty similar numbers. Moderna is proving to be more effective against Delta. Delta wasn’t an issue back in February when DH and I got our shots (high risk profession, so we were high on the list). I got Moderna and he got Pfizer. My teens got Pfizer as it was the only one approved for their age group. Husband will get a booster next week. I am not currently working, plus Moderna, so I will not.

So back when Covid first hit and we heard there may be a correlation to vitamin D3, zinc and a few other random supplements holding the virus at bay, these three friends begin the regimen. Many other people I know as well if some of you probably up your vitamin D3 intake. Will be glad you did.

All three of them caught Covid and they felt something off in their systems. One described feeling feverish for days but he had no actual fever….and his sense of smell and taste changing. He said for about four days he felt as if he was going to come down with something but it never happened. He was tested and tested positive for Covid. He never got a fever, never had any breathing problems, he just felt off for about 7 to 10 days and it was gone. The other two friends of mine had varying symptoms but very similar in nature. Very mild. Virus came and went

Two are in their 50s and one is in their 60s.

Not proof, but Let us not forget early studies that showed 98% of people that required hospitalization with Covid had vitamin D deficiencies. There is something to it.
I've been taking those and other vitamins/supplements for years. We don't get enough D from the sun in the midwest.

But regardless of location, all black people should be taking vitamin D. Their numbers are lower in D because darker skin acts as natural sunscreen, blocking the UVB rays.

NAC and Quercetin are also recommended to boost the immune system against Covid-19.

Wow, sorry to hear this. A mild case, I'm assuming?

Get well soon!

FDA granted emergency use approval to Pfizer and Moderna in December, 2020, BEFORE the detection of the emergence of the Delta variant amongst the 1.4 billion unvaccinated people in India.

How exactly was it possible to know the efficacy of any vaccine, against a variant, yet to emerge?

Demand for any vaccine was substantially greater than supply of vaccine between December, 2020- April, 2021. With the exception of the WH and Congress, the initial rollout of vaccines was rationed with priority given to front line healthcare professionals and the elderly. People were vaccinated with whatever vaccine was available.

The Delta variant was first detected in the US in March, 2021 and by late May, had become the dominate strain.

Effectiveness of each vaccine against the Delta variant evolved over time with indications Moderna was more effective than Pfizer in August, coinciding with the US achieving a 50% fully vaccinated rate amongst adults.

An expectation that government should have told the masses that Moderna was more effective than Pfizer and J&J BEFORE the emergence and subsequent spread of the Delta variant is neither logical or rational.

You know enough to know better then to compare the measles and polio vaccine to this vaccine. If that isn't intentional disinformation, I don't know what is.

Interesting about Moderna being best long term.

It is also the one I know three people that got very bad flu on the Moderna 2nd shot. One was in bed for three days with severe flu. One day each for the others. Chills, fever, weakness and the works.

Yes. I know anecdotal.
