Shove everything including the kitchen sink into bills and bury them...it's called "pork".

Just look at CARES Act for a great example of pork at it's finest.
That bill oinked it's way to the President's desk.

And this latest "emergency" bill to keep the Government open...why Congress threw in a few "extra" BILLION.
Obama only passed becuae obama "bribed the senators from Nebraska, the "Cornhusker Hustle" and Louisiana, the "Louisiana Purchase" it was called.

I thought perhaps with all the dems in charge maybe we could AT LEAST get it rescheduled (so it's not classified by law as dangerous as cocaine) and go from there, that would be cool. But Biden is too old a fart to even care about it. Pretty depressing.
The potential revenue from taxing Marijuana on a Federal level would be enormous. But Biden, from what I understand, is against legalization.

This is not Canada, where Justin Trudeau signed off on legalization of marijuana nationwide, so each state didn't have to battle it out, legalize or not legalize.

In Chinese Mitch's state, Kentucky, there's still 42 of the counties that are still Dry, so imagine Chinese Mitch going along with it!

BTW for the record I think the entire infrastructure bill needs to be tossed in the trash and shredded. We can figure out how to spend more money once we can figure out how to pay interest on existing debt. The infrastructure bill is essentially shopping for a new car with a DTI of 80% and a dozen maxed out credit cards and no cash on hand with no financing secured for that car.
"Then would you be in support of mandatory retirement for all politicians at the age of 60 and 55 for the president?"

What in the world would that achieve?

Today's 75 is yesterdays 60.

There are MANY people in the early to mid 80's who are MORE sharp then 21 year olds.

Forced turnover in Washington. For starters, at least Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Bernie Sanders etc etc would be thrown out of office forthwith.

No, it's not. It's illegal at the federal level. That was the complaint. I agree that it's small potatoes right now, but you identified the issue incorrectly.

And in states that don’t have legal weed you can get Delta-8 which is legal because it’s extracted from hemp…for now anyway. Have even gotten some from the grocery store, kept in the liquor store section.

See, this is why these bills are such crap. Everyone wants to put in things that are totally unrelated to try and get their piece of the pie regardless of what the original intent of bill itself is supposed to be about.
And there are many things and pork the lunatic left have crammed into this bill already which have zero to do with infrastructure. It's ridiculous.
Why not, they regularly 'sneak' other things into bills, why not this?

Democrats will never legalize any drug, (remember it was during Obamas term that the toughest drug laws in history were created, the Opioid prescription drug laws).

These laws do nothing but protect the profits of foreign drug cartels.

Both teams love their war on drugs.
