Nixon and Mao meet on 2/21/1972

Quote:
Chairman Mao: Do you have anything to say, Doctor?

Dr. Kissinger: Mr. Chairman, the world situation has also changed dramatically during that period. We’ve had to learn a great deal. We thought all socialist/communist states were the same phenomenon. We didn’t understand until the President came into office the different nature of revolution in China and the way revolution had developed in other socialist states.

President Nixon: Mr. Chairman, I am aware of the fact that over a period of years my position with regard to the People’s Republic was one that the Chairman and Prime Minister totally disagreed with. What brings us together is a recognition of a new situation in the world and a recognition on our part that what is important is not a nation’s internal political philosophy. What is important is its policy toward the rest of the world and toward us.

This is the first evidence I have of seeing our government recognize Mao's thought reform. Idk if they knew about it before this but this is the first evidence I have that they knew Mao's revolution was different.

I think Nixon understood that thought reform was infectious and essentially social engineering through mass psychological manipulations. I think he also understood we would lose that war if we didn't follow the edicts of Mao's On Contradictions regarding the metaphysical versus the material dialect.

Thought reform should be thought more of as levers, not switches. When they need to move society in one direction, they push the levers needed to do that. The more they push the levers the more totalitarian. The more totalitarian the more likely the slaves will wake up.

Quote:
Thought reform is not mysterious. It is the systematic application of psychological and social influence techniques in an organized programmatic way within a constructed and managed environment (6,7,8,9,10). The goal is to produce specific attitudinal and behavioral changes. The changes occur incrementally without its being patently visible to those undergoing the process that their attitudes and behavior are being changed a step at a time according to the plan of those directing the program.

In society there are numerous elaborate attempts to influence attitudes and modify behavior. However, thought reform programs can be distinguished from other social influence efforts because of their totalistic scope and their sequenced phases aimed at destabilizing participants' sense of self, sense of reality, and values. Thought reform programs rely on organized peer pressure, the development of bonds between the leader or trainer and the followers, the control of communication, and the use of a variety of influence techniques. The aim of all this is to promote conformity, compliance, and the adoption of specific attitudes and behaviors desired by the group. Such a program is further characterized by the manipulation of the person's total social environment to stabilize and reinforce the modified behavior and attitude changes (8,9,10).

I believe the state started working towards fine tuning these levers. The psychological levers became more obvious during the Trump admin and especially the virus.

I don't know whether we did this to ourselves or what. Either way 24 hour news cycles, social media, school, work, etc. all play a role here. But no social control is 100%.

This one I don't know about. Curious how the rave scene in the 80's came to be honestly. Still researching but I know nothing of the scene and don't know really where to start.

So with hindsight all of these levers were already in place to some degree. Did it not strike anyone odd how it seemed like everyone on the left was a socialist once they gained power again?

So CRT was the key to the whole thing. The overwhelming philosophy. But that had to be built up. That movement started with a bunch of Marxist lawyers brainstorming. By 2001 it had been taken over:

Quote:
Today, by contrast, we are in the throes of a powerful, tightly organized, almost evangelical movement. It is well-organized and highly visible, and it boasts a string of impressive victories to call its own. It has friends in high places: the media, Congress, the White House, and the Supreme Court. It has a political strategy, a research agenda, and a grassroots and propaganda campaign that are among the most sophisticated and efficient in today's cyberbolic society. It has no known rival, and its resources seem to be endless. Unfortunately, this movement is not ours.

So the hegemony is built up but they don't control the centers of power. Obama issues the Dear Colleague Letter 4/2011. This created a "moral" bureaucracy within the academic institutions. Campus rape culture was blown out of proportion because of the changes in the desired evidence and how they would be carried out. Civil Rights admins exploded. Evergreen and all that. They're gone now, too late.

Then Obama issues EO 13583 - Establishing a Coordinated Government-wide Initiative to Promote Diversity and Inclusion in the Federal Workforce.

These are basically thinly veiled purges in academia and the government. Obama also starts purging military personnel that didn't toe the line for a whole host of reasons. Something like 197 high ranking officials are purged from prominent positions in the military.

All of this starts polarizing the country. By 2016 we were polarized enough to elect Trump to office. Something they never imagined was even possible. No worries, they had something for that...

So Lifton starts pushing:

Renowned psychiatrist Robert Jay Lifton on the Goldwater Rule: We have a duty to warn if someone may be dangerous to others.

BY BILL MOYERS | SEPTEMBER 14, 2017
The same Lifton that wrote Thought Reform and the Psychology of Totalism. The same Lifton that is a member of the Collegium International. Habermas of Critical Theory is also a member. Idk enough about all the others to really comment. I probably shouldn't even mention Habermas but to say he's important in CT.

Quote:
Since its creation in 2002, the Collegium has been working on the concept of interdependence of solidarity and responsibility and its application to global governance which cannot be conceived on the sole state model, but encompasses supra-state and trans-state, public actors (local authorities and organizations international) or private (transnational companies, TNCs), and civil society.

Updated Statement Moves Away from Shareholder Primacy, Includes Commitment to All Stakeholders

WASHINGTON – Business Roundtable today announced the release of a new Statement on the Purpose of a Corporation signed by 181 CEOs who commit to lead their companies for the benefit of all stakeholders – customers, employees, suppliers, communities and shareholders.

Then of course The Virus. And the 2020 Election.

Once the left came back into power (which they never really lost evidenced by the complete pushback of the state against Trump) they offered up dystopian bills that basically allow them all the power of the state.

So far they're being held back but just barely. I'm willing to bet the $3.5 trillion bill and the desire for more is all based on deception and a need to finish the transition.

Manchin holds the keys to the kingdom.
