Even though I disagree with many of her political views, she doesn’t deserve to be treated that way.
She -- and just about every other Senator deserves to be treated much worse than that given what they do to the rest of us, but I still agree that that particular form of mistreatment is out of bounds and reflects really badly on the woman doing it.
Dear Senator Sinema: the people who are harassing you, and the people who cheer them on, are the people whom you are representing as a Democrat. This is your constituency. I would urge you to consider switching parties so you can represent decent people who will let you do your private business in private.
So let me ask you, what makes you think if she did switch parties she wouldn't turn around and pull the same stunt on the Republicans? Also, are these the same decent people she can represent the ones who were defecating in the hallways of Capitol bldg on Jan 6th because they don't seem to be role models in terms of understanding the concept of "doing private business in private".
In any event, after she finishes her term under the conditions she accepted it in the first place you can have her. It's not like she has any future as a Democratic Senator from the state of Arizona. Damaged goods.
Were the people in the restroom articulating their own questions or reading someone else's question provided via a script? "Blanca" came off like a programmed robot, I wonder if she really knocked on doors personally.
I’m not sure that her views align with the Republican Party, however. Don’t forget that aside from these spending issue, she votes with her party most of the time and her views are generally on the left side of the political spectrum.
What I -can- say is that I feel like she’s trying to represent her constituents and her state well and I can respect that. I can’t say that for all of these politicians in Washington.
Agreed, I would personally love her as my senator. Instead my senators love taxes and continually dream of new ways to take money from us.
These people are activists. They don't use words. They use ACTION..hence their name.
Oh, is THAT what we call them when it's convenient instead of "Domestic Terrorists"?
