Local Walmart had mostly empty shelves in the TP and paper towel sections.

Just got back from the King Soopers in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Full shelves. No discernable shortages of anything. It was, however, a more expensive shop than usual.

Why should the federal government have the right to tell California what to do? Support States’ Rights!

Why should the federal government have the right to tell businesses they can’t mandate vaccines? Are you a socialist?

When it comes to intrastate commerce and shipping, the federal government does in fact have the right to do certain things.

For example, Iowa cannot just decide to shut down barge traffic on the Mississippi or close I-80 or block the railroads.

I know you're trying to be cute by extrapolating state rights arguments the right wingers have made but this topic is not solely the purveyance of a state like some things are.

About 11 am. All the other shelves were full. Usually the pop aisle is almost empty. They had about 15-20 personal shoppers in the store. First time I have ever seen that many.

Appreciate the response. Hard to say as people can always stampede so to speak and horde but I'm in the middle of the freakin country and other than about 2-3 things at Costco it's business as usual and and at least one of those might be just something they aren't carrying anymore.

Seems some partisans are trying to make it worse than it is which let me be blunt IS STUPID. Biden is literally hanging himself so why repubs feel the need to LIE about shortages like it's 1980 Russia is their own mental illness.

P.S. At least we can all mostly agree that things cost more...except for the same nutjobs trying to tell us things cost double or triple. Dang dudes, put down the bottle of Jack and the crack pipe. We get it, things cost more, saying it's double or triple.....sigh.

I don’t think anyone in this thread is lying about what they are seeing in the stores, from those who see shortages to those that don’t.
