The narrative to blacks is that America is racist and terrible.
The truth is, there is no place on earth where blacks will get the opportunities to better themselves than...you guessed it...America.
Honestly...coming from an all white family and living in a mostly white neighborhood...we really don't care about skin color. We are not constantly talking about or worrying about what people look like or racial this or racial that. We are just working, raising kids and living our lives. There is no big agenda to hurt blacks or hate blacks or keep anyone down.
Those black activists that bloviate about how terrible America is, would not last 15 minutes living in ANY other country. They are being loud because it gives them power and some are making money off of the fear and division.
We pay a lot of money to the IRS. We’re not getting a darn thing for the money we pay in taxes.
I'm no fan of taxes increases, etc. but you're getting lots from your tax money. It's just easy to take for granted. This sounds dramatic but is basically true-- your tax money keeps some psycho from invading your house and dragging you into ISIS.

Are you really confused? It's both and everything in between. It's great. It's terrible. It's mediocre. It depends what and where you focus. The conservatives tend to to want to "conserve" it the way it is. Liberals think it can be even better if we keep what's great and focus on improving the worse parts of it.
Neo-Liberals don’t want to keep anything. Where do you get that? They believe as the OP stated that is is entirely bad and needs to be remade into a socialist/Marxist state. The current democrat party has moved so far left it’s unthinkable. They use propaganda to convince the masses America is bad. The think I didn’t know is whether they really believe America is bad or whether they use this propaganda to gain power Animal Farm style.
You can always judge a country by how many people are trying to get in versus how many people are trying to leave.
You brought up an interesting point that I rarely hear about. How many leave? Apparently, there are about 9 million Americans that choose to leave the U.S. and live in other countries.
