(Btw, I haven't actually "had a party" since 2008, but I now definitely lean more Republican than Democrat.)
And saying that, when I was a Democrat, I admired Theodore Roosevelt, a Republican, more than any other POTUS, except possibly for JFK. (Using 20/20 hindsight compared to present-day POTUSes, however, I would consider Jimmy Carter to be one of my favorites, also.)
Neither of these people ideologically align with anything you actually post.
I respect their morals and ethics, both are strong, intelligent women who stand their ground. I like both of them and find them thoughtful, logical, and willing to listen to views other than their own. I do not have to align with someone’s political beliefs to admire their character.

Obama, call me crazy. I didn’t agree with 99.9% of his politics but I think he was a very respectable human being at his core level. No stained dresses, no interns, even those he was in opposition with always said he was very sincere and genuine.
After him, I would probably pick Jimmy Carter. Probably one of the nicest human beings we’ve ever had as president, just a good wholesome person, but he was not meant to be president. He was really bad.
I loved the way Tulsi Gabbard took apart that awful woman who is now VP in the debates.
In response to the original question, I could mention Daniel Patrick Moynihan. He wasn't in the same ideological rut that most politicians are in today, and he was willing to tell the truth even when it didn't suit the people in his party.
