Dr. Francis Collins, the folksy, guitar-playing director of the National Institutes of Health, announced Tuesday that he plans to step down as head of the gigantic research agency by the end of the year.

Reflecting on stepping down during a time when science has been politicized, Collins noted: "Every issue, the polarization gets deeper and deeper, the tribes have formed their views and it’s very hard to see how we step back from that."

He, like so many others, recognizes science has been politicized. i don't blame him for refusing to work in such an anti-science environment.

science was NOT based on personal bias and politics. however, it is now and this is why i do not trust the pontifications of so called "experts". there is no longer anywhere to go to get the truth....even the Lancet is political.

First FDA folk, now this. They, likely, don’t even mention small fish that did same.

2 FDA people from the vaccine board
1 Head of NIH

I'd say the CDC and the WH are running the show now folks...politics.
The real science folks are leaving.

Are you saying that the right or the left is politicizing 'the science"? I can find at least 10 examples of Fauci's lies if you are saying the right is.
