Yes, it is still that big Q tip shoved way up into your nose. I had it done because I thought I had covid and wanted to know for sure. I jerked back hard from it, and that caused a small tear inside my nose to the point that it hurt a little bit for 2 months every time I sneezed or scratched my nose.
I don't know how it can be expected to get that test done once a week.
The modern tests don't need to be shoved that far up your nose. If you go through the drive-thu (like CVS/Caremark) has, they just hand you the swab and you have to rub it around the inside of your nostrils and you hand it back (in the proper packaging).
Each person gets to decide individually for themselves what constitutes a valid medical concern. To outsource this authority, either by choice or by force, to someone else is to strip a fundamental part of one's ownership of themselves to someone else.
We have a name for the situation when someone else has ownership over your physical body.

My test was done 2-3 months ago; good to know that the newer ones are less invasive.

Sure, for personal assessment.
However, an employer can request a medical concern is validated by a doctor. They can't force it to be validated, however. All they can do is terminate the person... which is obviously their right as an employer.
Are you new to employment? The term "exit" has been used in this manner for decades.
While the term may have been around for a long time, it is being used now more frequently to sanitize the effects of forcing people out of their jobs, and the collateral damage caused by it, in order to make it more palatable to those in favor of mandates.
It is a form of violence. It cannot be sanitized away.

Any employer who is firing an employee for non-compliance with the mandate is only looking out for their own bottom line, as they want to avoid the unconstitutional and deeply unethical OSHA fines.

If you don't meet the requirements of an employer, you aren't suitable for the job. That's not new. No one's being forced out of a job. They are choosing not to meet the requirements.

A lot of employers actually want vaccine to stay out of their offices. Also, there's nothing unconstitutional about mandating testing of employees. The republicans created OHSA to protect the work environment. Testing for Covid does just that.
No one in DC said anyone over 100 employees had to make sure their employees are vaccinated. They need to be tested regularly and can opt out by getting vaccinated. But this hasn't passed yet.
Only those who have a religious exemption will be "allowed" to just test regularly. Those who lack a religious exemption will be fired.
