Having not heard a term before doesn't make it PC. All it means is that you haven't heard it used in that way before.

Employers in my area are not taking this strategy. It will be interesting, but like any market, things work out in the long term.

Same at my company, including me.

I don't think the Biden/OSHA enforced mandate will stand when legally challenged in court. That can't happen until OSHA makes it "official" and spells out the specific requirements, but many constitutional law attorneys and several states are already lined up to challenge it. Some companies are jumping the gun and moving forward anyway with their own mandates which is unfortunate for both them and their employees.

Living in South CArolina and my husband's company is pursuing the policy as required by law.

I also have a friend who works mainly from home and her company deals with the federal govt. and she's going for her first vaccine. I guess she wasn't that concerned about the risk. You can opt out for religious or health issues.

I think some companies have to prepare for the Biden mandate whether or not it withstands legal challenges. My employer has mostly touted the CDC's pro-vaccine line but has acknowledged from day one that the vaccine may not be for everyone. But with the expectation of the Biden mandate, they plan to roll out their "vaccine program" on Jan 1 in a response to potentially facing over 300M in fines.

I hope that Governor DeSantis and the Florida legislature choose to protect Floridians against discrimination for choosing not to disclose vaccination status or previous infection.

One reason they’re pushing for the access to bank accounts/financials is they believe some employers/employees will work/get paid “off the books” to beat the mandate.
