The rootcause of all this has something to do with Section 230. I believe this has to do in helping their case for censorship of conservatives.

Didn't this whistleblower suggest this was at the core of her concerns -- but she didn't address that today did she.

They have section 230 protections from being sued because they aren't editors, merely publishers....but we all know that they have edited.

Last year I kept saying Twitter was actually pushing to have section 230 removed, and the reason I thought they wanted that to happen is because:

1) they can handle lawsuits that come their way....and liberal companies won't sue them in the first place

2) lawsuits will kill the little guy and they'll have no competition

This may be part of this agenda. Twitter hasn't succeeded and now this.

Neither.. i suspect collusion between fb and a sect of the government for something else. Its not what it seems on the surface.

Not anti-Facebook. I could live with or without it.

But I'm a little confused a little about what it is we are objecting to with Facebook.

So this whistleblower thinks Facebook should share their data with the govt? So do we want all businesses to share data with govt.?

Her biggest claim right now is that Facebook feeds the hate. Does Facebook feed the hate or do people go looking for it...and are we saying that we want govt. to make sure media doesn't let us get too angry.

What happens if someone decides some of the posts here are creating too much hate and anger and should be censored?

I don't know.

Don't we have to tread carefully here.

Arrow Facebook Whistleblower Is Leftist Activist Repped By Lawyer For ‘Whistleblower’ Behind Trump Impeachment

more leftist agitprop.

Quote:
The Facebook whistleblower, Frances Haugen, has a record of donations to far-left Democrats and a history of raising issues about purported bias while at previous employers, a Daily Wire review found. She is working with Democrat operatives to roll out her complaint and has the same lawyers as the anonymous Ukraine “whistleblower” whose allegations led to Donald Trump’s impeachment, but who reportedly turned out to be then-Vice President Joe Biden’s top advisor on the country.

a good breakdown of this so called whistleblower event'

Yes. Some people (conservatives) got excited at the thought of a whistleblower ratting out FB since FB was censoring conservative content.

But that's not this lady's complaint at all. She wants more! NPR's interview with a rep from FB, on the Morning Edition, was very telling as to where NPR stands. They agree with the whistleblower.

If the propaganda press is promoting one of these stories, there are likely other intentions beneath the surface.

This is the second instance of one of the stories that looks like it would be a pro-conservative incident - with Milley/treason being the first.
