That was one of the saddest declines I've watched in industry. Looking back on things now, I can't believe that some held having a "paid" email account as some status symbol And AOL was too stupid to change until it was too late.

Will Google Search suffer the same fate? It started out as popular as AOL once was.

I'm skeptical, but would never say never. The scenarios are too different from the AOL mess. That said, if Google continues to go down this road, it wouldn't shock me. Google has largely evolved and kept up with the times, while keeping their services "free" for the everyday user. Yes, we're subjected to ads and can purchase additional storage, but many see that as a small inconvenience.

Black Americans have been "over policed" for many decades so now you know how they feel.

The right is the "law and order" party except when they are the ones breaking the law.

I encourage everyone to type in the kind of things they are looking for, (clog up the system).
Exactly. Everyone should do this.

Perhaps it's time to just walk away from the internet altogether.

Broadband killed AOL. Didn't need them to access the web anymore.

Jan 6th was nothing more than minor civil disobedience...a guy was laughing as he carried the podium away for petes sake. LOL

Had this been an actual attempt to overthrow the govt, they would have USED that podium to address the nation, to let the public know they are in control now.

Bubba and the Maggettes are not that bright. They used their vacay time from their civil service jobs to go storm the capitol. Once they captured it they were waiting for Trump to give orders. As usual he threw them under bus.
