Id like to think they could come up with something far more deadlier if that was the intent.
Did I say anything at all about population control? And why do you think population control would only come from death anyway? There's something called sterilization (among several other methods).

Because COVID by itself wasn't going to reduce population and that wasn't the plan, but the vaccine would through years of injections that cause sterilization or kill off more people than any other vaccine in history. And by dragging it out for years you can blame the complications on other things too just lessening the finger pointing to the vaccine. If the vaccine was too obviously deadly then no one would take it.

I dont really understand it, when all this started the govt had the perfect chance to really impose tough control measures...but eventually they caved, and 'allowed' most everything to re open or resume like it was before, (if their intent was more control, they willingly gave it up pretty quick!)...they could have justified much longer and widespread shutdowns had they wanted to
They caved because the masses would have revolted big time after 3 months of being shut in. Now they are trying to do a balancing act to see how much they can get away with.

People still do run things in this country through elections... right?

our leaders can't even agree to fixing a two lane bridge or repaving a country road, they sure as hell shouldn't be making decisions about our health.
