yes, let's hope.

Similarly, Delta was not worse than prior variants be it case rates, hospitalizations or deaths.

428,836 Covid deaths and growing fast on Brandon's watch.

A new record for Covid deaths.

Horrific numbers under Brandon. A total failure of leadership.

Here is CDC data on Covid deaths by state:

Top 15 states with highest Covid death rates:
1. Mississippi -- 347 deaths per 100K population
2. Alabama -- 333
3. Arizona -- 323

4. New Jersey -- 323
5. Louisiana -- 321
6. Arkansas -- 296
7. Georgia -- 291
8. Florida -- 289

9. West Virginia -- 288
10. Massachusetts -- 287
11. Oklahoma -- 286
12. Rhode Island -- 282
13. South Carolina -- 280
14. Michigan -- 277
15. Pennsylvania -- 276

Florida has the 8th highest Covid death rate.

And 10 of those 15 states with the highest Covid death rates are red states (including of course Florida).

Footnote: They treat NYC separately (#1), but NYC is not a state. The rest of NY is ranked 34th, so if you combined the two it would be around 17th or so.

- AZ and GA went for Biden the last election but they're both run by republicans both in the governor's office and the state legislatures.
- MA is a deep blue state but is run by a RINO republican governor. But it has a democratic legislature.
- MI and PA have voted mostly for democrats in recent presidential elections and have democratic governors, but have republican legislatures. So those two are kind-of purple.

The trend is clear: Red states tend to have higer Covid death rates.

The reverse is true: The states with the lowest Covid death rates tend to be blue states. Here is the bottom 15:

Not so grasshopper. New York is setting all time record highs today. Even though most are vaccinated, they are super susceptible to getting Covid and pass it at a much higher rate. Informative CNBC news story.

The figures I cited were deaths, not cases.

No, it was the tainted 10% of the Big Guy's payoff that got spread around as he spent it.
