In an alternate universe, Trump won and Dems are looking into voter fraud and the possibility of hacking voting machines by the Russians in collusion with Trump.
“Ex-Trump lawyer Sidney Powell said she doesn't have the 'tiniest fraction' of funds to cover the $4 billion in lawsuits from her bogus election-fraud claims”
No election is ever going to be secure when you have computerized voting machines that can be easily hacked and don't leave an accurate paper trail.
At the peril of thread drift...I agree!
All states should be using paper ballots that can be optically scanned for faster voter tabulation, but also be used for hand recounts if the vote tabulation is in question. And if Ballot Marking Devices (BMD) are used, then they should produce a paper ballot that can be visually verified by the voter before submitting the ballot.
Georgia used a Dominion BMD for the November 2020 election that relied on a 2-D bar code for the actual machine vote tabulation. That needs to stop, there's a potential for the 2-D scan not to match the printed results and the voter wouldn't know it.
Kentucky, Kansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas all use Digital-Recording Electronic (DRE) machines without Voter-Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) for at least some of their ballots cast.
I understand that it may be a cost issue for these states, replacing their existing voting devices and tabulators. I would support federal funding to assist these states to get to at least DRE with VVPAT.
Things did not end so well for Joan of Arc. Has to be the silliest attempt at photoshopping I have seen for quite a while.
Terrible photoshop skills and no idea of the historical figure they're trying to leverage. It's just so goddamn sad at this point.
