3 million more illegals are getting food stamps and eating us the supply. The demand is great and that is why we are going to get higher and higher inflation as free food pushes up the prices for those that use real money to buy food. Your money is now being robbed from you by the government policies of Biden.

The longshoremen can unload the ships, but need trucks to put the onto, and when the container terminal runs out of room the ships have to remain offshore. Manufacturing here would be a big help, but so would young people becoming truckers, and that is not exactly a glamorous career for someone with a degree in political science, psychology, or IT.
Many owner operators are not making enough on each trip to pay for the fuel.. I bet many truck drivers are swinging their trucks back to the bank and walking away. Biden cutting our life line of oil is raising prices of diesel at very high prices now and it is hurting the trucking industry big time.

Spot on. Preparing for what is coming so you don't have to be the sad sap waiting in line or going store to store is not a "doom & gloom prepper" situation or any of the extremes some Biden apologists want to make it out to be. It's just a matter of following what the business, logistics and transportation reps are saying and understanding what happened last year is starting to happen again but will be magnified. People are starting to buy whatever they can now, so why not get ahead of this situation rather than waiting and coming up short. Get what you can now so you won't have to spend so much time trying to find it later.

Maybe we need some entrepreneurs to start manufacturing stuff here in the US again so we are not so dependent on other countries for our goods.

Or maybe some strong young people could apply for jobs at the docks to unload all the cargo.
Bingo!!!

Some interesting reports showing what is happening now and how it's going to get a whole lot worse.

Daily Mail has as article on shortages and scroll to just see pictures and video.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...shortages.html

On Reddit one can read/see/follow at www.reddit.com/r/Shortages/ mostly USA stories but also some UK and EU.
Someone started www.reddit.com/r/BritishFoodShortages/

Last year on tv news there was already reminder just buy what you need, do not buy extra groceries, because if all buy extra is not enough. Most stick to buying same quantity and maybe like 1 extra pasta or a extra tea. Here in EU preppers are very few. Also our kitchens are quite small, no place to storage, no pantry.

In summer fridge/freezer died and was/still is shortage household appliances, was not much choice and this is way smaller because was nothing else to buy.
