If we could get all the people in a classroom vaccinated, I agree they should be allowed to be mask-free. But as long as there are unvaccinated kids in the same room, masks should stay on.
That is what we all do in my circle of friends.

How is that going to stop you from getting the virus when vax people can still spread the virus?
Vax only protects YOU or minimizing chances of being hospitalized
They need to be dropped now. No other country forces little kids to wear snot-soaked rags all day long. American liberals are evil creatures for making them do it.
Plus the vaccine only lasts for 6 months and not everyone hits the 6th month mark at the same time.
Then what happens to those that got a shot but no booster ?
Masks should have been dropped a long time ago, at least when all adults who wanted the vaccine could get it.
Masks are optional almost everywhere where I live and have been since early summer. Kids still have to mask in school, which seems unfair considering they have always been low risk.
Both of my kids have caught colds in fully masked schools anyway so I can’t imagine they are really preventing the spread of Covid all that well.
If they move the goalposts on this, you are going to be seeing vaccinated people getting angry
Vaccinated people are already angry and defiant. Covid in kids under 12 is no more dangerous than RSV and the flu.
