Maybe all the mercury in the swordfish you eat explains some of your posts on here.....
So Biden restored something, That’s about the only thing he restored then, everything else Biden has done is a failure.

Trump restored the commercial fishing that Obama shut on his way out the door.
Because in the elite blues mind the average blue collar workers are just serfs who supposed to clean their houses, work on there cars, mow their lawns, etc…..

''Over four years, the Trump administration dismantled major climate policies and rolled back many more rules governing clean air, water, wildlife and toxic chemicals.''

Trump doesnt care about the environment. He tried to do away with the EPA. Toxic chemicals in the waters killing fish. It doesnt benefit him. What does, are the companies and his buddies he's helping, thats turning the waters into a waste dump with no controls. I live on the mid Atlantic coast. There are always closures going on to control the limits that can be taken. Not just sport fishermen, but longliner fishing vessels can come in and just about wipe out certain species of fish. Without controls. Fish stocks can be taken so low it will take decades to come back. More of Trump greed and incompetence, with no care for the public.

Yeah, wind spills are terrible.

In real life, marine life thrive around off-shore wind turbines, it's pretty much an artificial reef. And the populations aren't overfished.

You know what else used to be a common dish around here? Cod. They even named the Cape for it. Now every place you go they serve haddock instead, because the cod fishery has been decimated by overfishing. If you really like swordfish so much, you should be happy that the government is taking steps to preserve the species.

For people incapable of looking at two numbers and saying "Yup, that one number is much larger then the other one", I guess this statement makes sense.

And neither does anyone else.

If the EPA did the job they are supposed to be doing the waters wouldn't be toxic...get it ?
The EPA has one big slush fund for cleanup. The EPA is reactive, not proactive.

Perhaps imposed limits might have been a comprise?

If it is a real concern either ban both or ban none. You would think team woke wouldn't bend over backwards to protect the elites ability to charter big fishing trips into the protected area.

“This is an unfortunate decision that is opposed not only by those affected in the commercial fishing industry, but by all eight fishery management councils and NOAA Fisheries,” he added. “There is no scientific justification to prohibit commercial fishing while allowing recreational fishing. While the Biden-Harris Administration has claimed decisions will be based on science, and not on who has the stronger lobby, this decision shows otherwise.”
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bos...-cape-cod/amp/

So the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration disagrees with Biden and all 8 fish management councils disagree with Biden. Then Biden sheep bah out that Republicans didn't read the article as they parrot the talking points of it is okay to give the elites special privileges.
