Is there anyone in this thread, who has watched that video, that somehow thought this wasn't scripted, and the children chosen for their acting ability/diversity?
Follow up question, how would you do that unscripted?
Geez louise. Big, big breaking news. This video didn't just fall together with kids meandering into her office randomly. There. It's out. Teachable moment for some, apparently.
She COULD HAVE invited kids from one of the local schools to come to the White House to talk about this topic, with cameras rolling in the background. Then, a production company could have taken some of the most interesting (and organic!) snippets to piece together into a much more natural and believable video. Sort of like how reality television is made. Sure, some reality shows are loosely scripted, but this thing was an abomination.
Her hand gestures were the worst. You can tell she’s being coached so that she comes across as more “likable” but honestly she should just be herself, even if it does come across as unlikable and unrelatable, since she’s treating those kids like preschoolers. She’s already Vice President and will likely be President at some point due to Joe Biden’s diminished mental capacity, so who does she need to impress at this point?
Not really a problem for me that they hired child actors, the problem with using non actor kids, many of them are too nervous about being on camera and it shows.
We used to watch things like this when I was in school, most students thought they were dumb and didnt pay any attention to them, and they do try to make the adults look cool/hip, which teens can see right thru.

Do you understand that's not how videos work? This is CLEARLY a professionally produced, professionally edited, professionally scripted video.
Anyone who is paying the slightest bit of attention could see that.
On the other hand, yes, she could have done this completely differently and made it a photo op for media to come film her talking to randomly assembled children at the white house. That's not what this is, though, and for those who don't know that at a glance, well, now they do. Now they're better prepared to process what they see in video.

Honestly.
I love how you go to great lengths to defend this abomination of an administration.
There are users on YouTube who could have created a better video than this, even when considering the target audience.
Truly scary Biden may very well be re elected and then step down a few months into 2nd term and we are stuck with his unqualified nut for 4 years. America will be a much different place in 8 years. Inflation and slums all over
Watching some of those vid clips of her and man, that was cringeworthy, big time. She's talking to them like they are 6 or 7 yrs old. She has her own kids so it's not like she doesn't know how kids are at various ages. She's overly animated and gesturing and was just sort of over the top. I'm not sure what the end game was with this video, some attempt to get her to be viewed in a better way?
She just comes off so disingenuous to a lot of people. That nervous cackling laughter she does. It just seem to me that she's in over her head. When she was running during the dem primaries she only broke 9 or 10% in approval ratings. People in her own lefty la la land state of CA didn't want anything really to do with her. How she made it to 2nd in line is pretty crazy.

All I'm saying, is that it's baffling to me that anyone would think it's big news to announce this video was scripted, and the children chosen for their demographic and acting abilities.
Maybe there are some here who still believe in Santa.
This video is what's called a "soft piece", that's intended to get kids excited about NASA. If you really hate Harris, surely you can come up with a more substantive reason than this little educational piece that you're calling a fraud.
