Still the timing makes no sense. The suddenness makes no sense… I wonder why people aren’t going back to work? Being protected with vaccinations, masks - people have been working in riskier environments up until recently.
This is weird.
This does not make sense. There has been no specific event/disaster… nope. Best guess goods are being withheld for political reasons.
Elites gotta usher in that Communism 2.0, er I mean the "great reset".
I think some of the supply issues are still a result of the pandemic and the mass closings throughout the world. I believe we were using up reserves/surplus during most of the pandemic and it covered demand for awhile. But now, with fewer employees returning to work, with some places still suffering staffing shortages, with other labor issues, the manufacturing is much lower and companies are not able to get back to a reserve. Demand is high.
But, it's the combination of labor issues, delivery issues, supply chain issues, manufacturing issues, and even economic issues that are causing the whole problem. It's not just one thing here or there it's like the whole freaking thing is out of whack.
That's all well and good for the US but over 80% of our "stuff" including some food items are IMPORTED.
I have noticed that when I go to stop and shop they never have Temptee or Philadeliphia whipped cream cheese. Not sure what's up with that but they haven't had it for the past month!
You must be like me, reading those stories of hunters lost in the forest. They shoot a squirrel but the meat is too tough to eat.
Hence, have plenty of salt around.
That did occur to me when I wrote my earlier post that my way of shopping is to do it all at once, stockpile,.......and not to constantly go to the store when I need something.
I just tried to think of the one essential thing - that’s all I could think of! Hahaah! I think a lot folks would be unhappy with no access to salt. It’s not some one thinks of - but it was my first concern for some reason!
I reiterate - this makes no sense. There is more to this story. This doesn’t just happen in a a day or two.
30 years ago USSR had long bread lines before economic collapse. I wouldn't be surprised if organized crime starts taking over the US. With police defunded and the FBI only going after political dissidents, the mafia can take over.
How many places defunded the police?
Houston and Harris county increased the LE budgets.
Went grocery shopping yesterday, did not see this. Maybe NYC and surrounding area is just lucky. I went to Philly a few weeks ago, and it seems fine there too.
I am going to take a roadtrip to the Great Plains. Lets see what is out there. I hope I dont end up stranded with no food, gas, and other supplies while out there.
Come down to the Carolinas go to any Walmart, it looks empty.
