To begin with, crack and heroin are physically addictive, cannabis not so much.
The potheads I know have been potheading for most of their lives. They are now in their fifties. I really don't know anyone who was big into pot back in the day who do not partake today.

And hamburger lovers I know have been eating hamburgers for most of their lives, are they addicted? There's simply no comparison between the addictive power of cannabis vs. crack or heroin.
I met up with several coworkers last night for drinks - most people had a couple of beers or glasses of wine. Is everyone aghast at that?
Recreational pot is legal in 18 states including mine. Although I do not personally choose to partake, I have a hard time finding that big of a distinction between this company in the video having a team building activity using pot vs. my company having a social event involving alcohol.
actually pure pharmaceutical heroin is not that harmful, it the impurity introduced as a result of its blackmarket nature that produce most of the harm....look at Kieth Richards 60 years of phamacueticals
Because of Keith Richards? Gee do you think he had the money to detox and recover?
"Heroin is a highly addictive opioid drug, and its use has repercussions that extend far beyond the individual user."
"Repeated heroin use changes the physical structure13 and physiology of the brain, creating long-term imbalances in neuronal and hormonal systems that are not easily reversed.14,15 Studies have shown some deterioration of the brain’s white matter due to heroin use, which may affect decision-making abilities, the ability to regulate behavior, and responses to stressful situations."

LMFAO "potheading?" Wow......ok then!
And so what? You're still missing the point. You can go years and years with smoking weed and still be a responsible, fully functioning adult handling your responsibilities. Go ahead and try to attempt that by using heroin, crack, or meth. You'll be a full out addict from all three if you don't OD off one of them first.
The 50's called, it wants it's outdated views on weed back.

Hey, I believe in individual liberty. That includes ingesting any substance you like--poison or otherwise. But because something can be done, it doesn't mean it is necessarily a good thing.
Bottom line is that we all have our poisons and we all have our addictions. That includes me. It's part of being human, I suppose. I'm just thankful that although I have them and although they are annoying as hell, none of them have involved chemicals that alter my ability to reason or perceive my surroundings rationally. Ultimately, boozing and doping are a complete waste of time and money. But as long as the boozer or stoner or crackhead or junkie has the resources to squander his or her time on this rock without negatively affecting anyone else, that is strictly his or her business and right, in my opinion. It is also my right to have a negative opinion of said activity.

Seeing as marijuana is used for medicinal treatments and actually has beneficial properties, which is why medical dispensaries are popping up all over, I'd hardly call it "poison."
Maybe it's time you get more informed about weed? It's 2021, not 1979.

Are they really any different than the prescription sedatives, stimulants and other legal mood altering drugs taken by no doubt millions every day? Read the shocking possible side effects of many prescription drugs and make the case they are better for people than a naturally growing weed.
By now it seems as if Reefer Madness should be awarded a special Oscar for its staying power.
