I don't blame them. They've been led by a biased media and politicians who want to hold power. Politicians that long ago sold out to corporate interests.

But those are the examples they usually provide.

my god...do you REALLY want me to address this point by point?

To all, here is a fine example of when the train goes off the rails and no one cares to correct it...

They are miserable and think that because they are miserable, everyone else should be miserable as well.

I don't have a fear of new ideas. I have a fear of YOUR ideas (and your comrades).

Besides, they are not new. Read the works of Sergey Nechayev. It will be like looking in a mirror for you. And he died in prison in 1882.

The right wing media constantly tries to convince us (and successfully convinces about 40% of our voters) that we are headed toward socialism, and on the brink of disaster.

You have people on the right telling people that the one thing that has statistical evidence of mitigating the COVID Pandemic is a threat to them. That anyone from South and Central America is illegal, a threat to their safety, and is going to destroy the moral fabric of America.

And they constantly say that if we change, if we don't keep doing the things that worked 50 or 100 years ago, that we'll fail as a country.

They say that wishing EVERYONE a happy and safe holiday, no matter who they pray to or how they celebrate, is an attack on Christianity. (LOL, wishing them well and trying to help them is the epitome of Christianity, but not to the Right)

But the Dems, who want the American Dream for people of all colors, races and religion, are the doom and gloomers? Are you kidding?

And "Sensitive about words":
I already covered how wishing someone a Happy Holiday is triggering to Right wingers, but now they also get their snowflakes melted if someone wants to teach the actual history and experience of blacks in America. Can't be proud of it, so rather than put it on the table to discuss, let's just bury it and pretend it didn't happen.

More proof that most of what right-wingers say and believe is just a projection of their own backwards views, and nothing more.
100% Right on.

All right wingers do is projection and play victimhood. They just cannot help themselves.

Talking about doom and gloom is laughable from the same people who played a caravan of people coming before the 2018 midterms. Once election day was over the story immediately went away. My favorite Obama is coming to take away all of your guns. The best of them all Trump tells his cult I'm the only person who can "save" America. Without me at the helm everything will crumble and fall apart. I though the stock market was going to crash with Biden???

Call them what you want, they are not MY ideas, but I'm glad you can at least start by admitting that you are afraid of change. That is the root of the doom and gloom from the right. FEAR.

Fear of the “other”.

Fill in the _____ to fit the occasion.

Also ANGER fueled by that fear. Fear that _____ is going to detrimentally effect you, although you may rarely see a ____ in your life.

Example: studies have shown that the people most adamantly against immigration are the ones from ZIP codes that have the least contact with immigrants.

I find the title of this thread interesting.

Consistently I find the conservatives to be far more dramatic about doom and gloom and the end of the world as we know it.

and just a side note....Song titles have to be changed? What songs are you talking about.

Folks have called for the censoring of lyrics, music, for years but now you notice?

(And it isn't always the liberals wanting things to be censored -- so that blows that whole argument.

Fear of only your kind of change. Folks like you and Nechayev have been around since the beginning of civilization. And their brand of "change" has brought only misery and death to all those who fall victim to their poison.
