If you complain about a man going on extended maternity leave to help his husband with their kids you are anti-gay, so he's immune from criticism on this one.

But of course.
His unnatural union should always come before the good of the nation.....right?Millions should wait for their needs if that's what it takes after all.

That's unacceptable! Since when do both parents take off to tend to newborn children? Especially when you're the head of a Department of the United States Government, in the midst of a major crisis.

He's on paternity leave, which is fine. But what was he doing until then and who did he delegate to deal with the situation until he gets back? This is not new. Ports have been backed up for months. If he didn't put someone in charge until he gets back then Brandon needs to do it in the meantime.

If there is anything we should come to understand about the administration, is that they love a crisis.

How many have we had in 9 months?

Women should stay out of this as well... you have nothing to say since you haven't been a man...

Please don’t turn this into a thread bashing on gay parents. It’s irrelevant. The man is as entitled to family leave as anybody else.

There’s enough valid material to knock Buttigieg’s performance without stopping to lowest-common-denominator gay bashing. The guy is not effective.

^^This. One could argue the Buttigiegs absence may be helping the situation move towards resolution.

Why Kamala because she is doing such a fine job with the border crisis

FWIW those ships started appearing in January with 38 sitting off the coast.
Him taking leave in August is not pertinent to the crisis.
