I'd like to know just who gets to decide what's controversial and what isn't?

That's what makes this a bad piece of legislation. It's vague. They wanted to ban the boogeyman called "Critical Race Theory", only to realize that they had no idea what it was or how to define it. So we get this wishy-washy nonsense that's guaranteed to do nothing but get some educator in hot water with a pro-Confederacy or anti-vaxx parent.
